Hours

The ALMC is staffed and open 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday year-round excluding university holidays and inclement weather days. Out-of-hours access is available for advanced instrument users.

We use Bookitlab software to manage scheduling and billing. To view calendar availability for our systems and book services, login on Bookitlab with your Mizzou credentials.

Cancellation policy

To help us make instrument time available to as many researchers as possible, please cancel reservations at least 48 hours in advance.

For late cancellations or missed appointments, the PI will be billed for reserved time that goes unused. We make every effort to offer cancelled time slots to other users, and you will not be charged for any portion of your reservation that we fill. We understand that experiments do not always go as planned and samples may unexpectedly be unsuitable for imaging. Core staff may waive cancellation fees at their discretion.

Out-of-hours access

Experienced, qualified users who have logged at least 30 hours on an instrument during business hours may request evening and weekend access to that instrument. Approved users may sign out an access keycard and facility key. Please record all instrument use in the Bookitlab calendar and contact facility staff in advance to arrange key pickup.
