Director – Hansa Magee
Hansa joined MU in 2022. Her role in the Division of Research, Innovation & Impact (RII) is to provide analytical strategic decision support and sustainable reporting for the entire university community. She works with research deans, RII colleagues and UM System leadership to measure sponsored project growth, identify research opportunities and to implement process improvements. She also responds on behalf of the university to the National Science Foundation Higher Education Research and Development survey and other research surveys.
Hansa completed her doctorate at Arizona State University (ASU) from the Fulton Schools of Engineering and was a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program recipient as well as a Fulbright recipient. Previously, she was director of analytics for the Knowledge Enterprise at ASU. She has experience leading data analysts and business intelligence developers to create standards and provide reporting for research, sponsored projects, human resources, finance, research building space and bibliometric data domains. Her main strengths are in process improvement, sustainable reporting pipelines, strategic decision support and communication of analytics. In her personal time, she reads voraciously, plays violin in the Chandler Symphony Orchestra and embarks on outdoor adventures with her family and friends. Hansa is a remote employee and lives in Phoenix, Arizona.
Data Analyst – Kristina Palmer
Kristina is a seasoned data analytics professional with diverse experience in pricing, operations, capital markets and software engineering. She joined MU in 2024 and is now making her way in the education sector developing sustainable analytics, visualizations and reporting workflows that enhance initiatives across the university. Committed to lifelong learning, Kristina keeps pace with technological advancements and continuously enhances her skills in programming languages and data visualization tools like Excel and Power BI. Outside of work, she pursues her passion for technology and creativity through coding and web design.
Data Analyst – Sabrina Woo
Sabrina is dedicated to learning about data analytics and tools to improve business intelligence. She earned bachelor's degrees in biomedical informatics and biological sciences and is currently enrolled in the data science and analytics master's degree program at Mizzou. She has strengths in data manipulation, process automation and is proficient in Excel, R, Python and Power BI. Outside of work, Sabrina enjoys singing, playing pickleball and boxing.
