The Redbud VC Technology Venture Studio develops student entrepreneurs into resilient and equipped tech founders with access to knowledge, networks and capital from world-class mentors.
Students from the four UM System universities can participate in the studio at the Griggs Innovators Nexus in the MU Student Center. The program, which offers education, mentorship and financing opportunities, is sponsored by Redbud VC (previously called Scale VC) and EquipmentShare.

Redbud VC was founded in 2021 by mid-Missouri entrepreneurs and business leaders to help cultivate the habits, skills and networks that founders need to develop successful companies. Their aim is to create a “Silicon Valley-effect,” or innovation hub, in the middle of the country by empowering student talent from the UM System.
