Cytek Aurora
Located in the NextGen Precision Health building, Room 1306.
The Cytek Aurora is a full-spectrum analyzer. The detectors in this instrument capture a fluorescence signature along a continuous spectrum and generate a spectral signature for each fluorochrome. Its SpectroFlo software offers streamline experiment setup, live data unmixing and auto-fluorescence extraction. The Aurora is equipped with Automatic Sample Loader capable of loading samples from standard FACS tubes rack or 96-well plates.
The Cytek Aurora is equipped with the following four lasers, 48 fluorescent channels and three scatter channels. The highly sensitive side scatter detector off the violet laser allows for the analysis of particles approaching the 100 nm size. Additionally, its volumetric counter allows for measuring cell count and cell concentration.

BD LSRFortessa X-20
Located at the Medical Science building, Room M320 (under the Cell and Immunobiology Core).
The BD LSRFortessa X-20 is configured with four lasers and is capable of detecting up to 15 colors and 17 parameters. The optical configuration includes the following lasers and filter combinations:

Cell sorter
Cytek Aurora
Located in the NextGen Precision Health building, Room 1306.
The Cytek Aurora five-laser cell sorter is designed for high-dimensional and high-parameter cell sorting and can sort up to six populations simultaneously into various collection devices, including Eppendorf tubes, 5ml and 15ml tubes and 96-well plates. The sorter is equipped with 70um and 100um nozzle settings to allow different sizes of cells. Housed inside a Baker biosafety cabinet, it can accommodate BSL-2 samples. The Cytek Aurora analyzer and Aurora cell sorter share the same optical system, enabling easy transfer of assays from the analyzer to the sorter system without modifying your panels.
The Cytek Aurora CS contains five lasers, 64 fluorescent detector channels and three scatter channels:
