Join us for an event that brings together faculty, staff, administrators and community partners from across the University of Missouri System to share innovative ideas and best practices for creating meaningful, impactful K–12 experiences.
You and your colleagues will:

- Explore strategies that inspire and support the next generation of learners.

Registration is encouraged for the sessions, but not necessary for the resource fair.

Session 1: Logistics 101 | Room 107

We will explore the core frameworks needed to navigate campus spaces, manage daily schedules and meet university compliance standards safely. Whether you are launching a brand-new youth camp or looking to streamline an existing program, this session delivers the operational blueprints you need to build a stress-free experience for your staff, parents and young Tigers.

Session 2: Creating Meaningful Learning Experiences for K–12 Audiences | Room 171
Want to make your K–12 outreach more engaging and impactful? Join this interactive workshop to learn how to design age-appropriate activities that spark curiosity and inspire learning. Discover strategies for incorporating experiential learning, adapting content for different grade levels, and creating authentic learning experiences that connect youth with real-world research and scientific practices. Whether you're hosting a classroom visit, summer camp or campus event, you'll leave with practical tools to create meaningful learning experiences that resonate with K–12 audiences.

This panel of experts will share their experiences coordinating K-12 youth programs, such as day camps, weeklong camps and half-day events. As no two camps/programs are the same, you will not find a “cookie cutter” template to copy; however, this is an opportunity to ask questions and gain insights for your own program.
