What we do
We provide internally sourced funding to support research and creative scholarship across the University of Missouri campus.
- Research Council grants — This is funding awarded to help support research, scholarship and creative activities at MU. Research Council Committee members review and recommend applications.
- PRIME funding — The Program for Research Infrastructure & Matching Expenses (PRIME) provides matching support funds for research projects at Mizzou, including research on instructional innovation.
Our electronic proposal system is called InfoReady. All Research Council and PRIME applications are submitted electronically through this system.
Research Council Committee
Members of the Research Council Committee are appointed by the vice chancellor for Research, Innovation & Impact. The committee is composed of two subcommittees:
- Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM)
- Arts and Humanities/Social and Behavioral Sciences (AH/SBS)
