PRIME provides matching support funds for research projects at MU, including research on instructional innovation.
Who is eligible for PRIME funding?
MU researchers applying for external grant funding are eligible to apply for PRIME matching funds when the following criteria are met:
- The funds will support larger federal grants that align with campus priorities.
- The funds will be used by multi‐investigator teams for projects with broad interdisciplinary impact.
- Sponsor guidelines require or encourage university matching funds (i.e., cost sharing).
- The funds support new external funding. PRIME will not be awarded for requests made after MU has received an award.
