Each month we offer one- to two- hour sessions focused on specific topics related to research development. Topic might include finding funding, mentoring, proposal development and broader impacts. Attendees also will be introduced to program officers at various national funding agencies and will be provided with strategies to approach and build the relationships that are vital to success.
Our workshops are open to all faculty, students and staff.
Introduction to the Education Innovation and Research Grant Program
Thursday, December 2, 2021, Noon to 1 p.m. via Zoom
Join us to learn about the Education Innovation and Research Program (EIR) from the U.S. Department of Education. Learn about the unique goals of the program, what types or projects are a good fit for EIR funding and tips for developing a competitive proposal. The EIR program is intended to help researchers 1) create, develop, implement, replicate or take to scale innovations to improve student achievement and attainment for high-need students and 2) rigorously evaluate such innovations.
When possible, our previous workshops have been recorded. Sessions and additional resources are available for review in the workshop archive.
