Rodent zygote

Above: Rodent zygotes are loaded into a glass slide electrode containing genome editing reagents. The zygotes are then electroporated using specific parameters to allow for the genome editing reagents to enter the cell. Engineered zygotes can then be cultured or transferred directly into pseudopregnant surrogate dams.
