An Institution may submit one proposal from each constituent school or college that awards degrees in an eligible field.

The program addresses the challenges facing low-income students by providing a wide range of institutions with funds to support scholarships to academically talented low-income students from the diverse student population seeking degrees in STEM. Funds also are to enable institutions in establishing a coherent ecosystem of effective practices and to investigate the effects of those practices on degree attainment in STEM and entry into the STEM workforce or graduate studies.
