The program aims to prepare individuals to conduct rigorous and relevant education research that advances knowledge within the field and addresses issues important to education policymakers and practitioners.  For FY16, IES will only accept applications for training under the Pathways to the Education Sciences Research Training Program, which is designed to prepare undergraduate, recent graduates, and master's students from underrepresented groups for doctoral study in education research.
