Amount:

NSF plans to provide individual awards at a range of $500,000 to $2 million per year.

NSF anticipates funding between 10 and 15 individual awards for shared user facility sites.

An institution may submit or participate in only one individual site proposal submitted in response to this solicitation.

Via the National Nanotechnology Infrastructure Network (NNIN), NSF has enabled major discoveries, innovations, and contributions to education and commerce by providing open access to university user facilities with leading-edge tools, instrumentation, and expertise within all disciplines of nanoscale science, engineering, and technology.  NSF is now moving forward with the new NNCI program as the successor the NNIN.
