Amount:

New application: Up to $1.6 million for the first year with up to three (3) subsequent years not exceeding two percent (2%) escalation on recurring direct costs.

Renewal application: Up to $2 million for the first year with up to four (4) subsequent years not exceeding two percent (2%) escalation on recurring direct costs.

Letter of Intent: Sunday, August 3, 2014. LOI is not required, not binding, and does not enter into the review of a subsequent application. 

Notes:

SRP Center grants will support problem-based, solution-oriented research Centers that consist of multiple, integrated projects representing both the biomedical and environmental science and engineering disciplines; as well as cores tasked with administrative, community engagement, research translation, training, and research support functions. Only one application will be accepted from each eligible organization.
