JAPAN PRIZE 2009
Limited Submission AnnouncementJAPAN PRIZE 2009 calls for entries of educational audiovisual multimedia
products. Since its establishment in 1965 as an international educational
program contest, JAPAN PRIZE has been contributing to the development
of educational broadcasting around the world and to fostering international
understanding and cooperation. In 2008, it evolved into the International
Contest for Educational Media and expanded its target to include a
variety of educational media using sound and images such as TV programs,
videos, websites, games and other interactive materials. Educational
programs that show high quality audiovisual effects using sound and
images and contribute to the improvement of education worldwide will
be awarded and include the following: The materials should have an audio-visual configuration that can
be introduced through broadcasting because the entered programs may
be broadcast in contest-related programs. The Audiovisual Division
includes five categories: Pre-school, Primary, Teen, Continuing Education,
and Welfare Education.
