Limited Submission Announcement

The National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS) solicits applications to maintain and enhance the PSI (Protein Structure Initiative): Biology Knowledgebase in support of PSI: Biology projects. As a central information hub, the Knowledgebase plays a critical role in making the research of PSI:Biology widely available to other scientists and performs outreach activities to inform and solicit input from the scientific community to increase the impact of PSI: Biology. The awardee will become part of the PSI:Biology network Steering Committee and will work jointly with other investigators and NIH staff to manage the overall PSI:Biology initiative.

Because MU is limited to one application for this program, letters of intent must be submitted to the Office of Research, ltdsub@missouri.edu, no later than 4:00 p.m. on Friday, June 12, 2009. Letters of intent should be limited to three pages and should include a summary of plans for 1) maintaining and enhancing the PSI-Structural Genomics Knowledgebase or its successor in support of the PSI:Biology initiative, 2) project management, 3) training, and 4) resource sharing.
