Limited Submission Announcement

The RGK Foundation awards grants in the broad areas of Education, Community, and Medicine/Health. The Foundation's primary interests within Education include programs that focus on formal K-12 education (particularly mathematics, science and reading), teacher development, literacy, and higher education. Within Community, the Foundation supports a broad range of human services, community improvement, abuse prevention, and youth development programs, particularly programs in child and family services, early childhood development, and parenting education. The Foundation's interests in Medicine/Health include programs that promote the health and well-being of children, programs that promote access to health services, and Foundation-initiated programs focusing on ALS.

Because MU is limited to one application per calendar year for this program, letters of intent must be submitted to the Office of Research, ltdsub@missouri.edu, no later than 4:00 p.m. on Friday, June 19, 2009. Letters of intent should be limited to 3 pages and should include 1) the program area of interest (education, community, or medicine/health), 2) a brief description of the proposed program, 3) at least three specific, measurable goals for the proposed program, and 4) how this proposal fits in with current programs and activities at MU.
