Limited Submission Announcement

The Missouri Foundation for Health Innovative Funding for Tobacco Prevention and Cessation Initiative will accept concept papers to test new approaches and innovative ideas that advance tobacco prevention and cessation in Missouri. These grants will be awarded to initiate a new project, pilot a creative idea or approach, and/or gain a different perspective or better understanding of tobacco control in Missouri through applied research. Concept papers will be accepted for program ideas that are not currently supported through the Tobacco Prevention and Cessation Initiative.

Because the University of Missouri System is limited to three concept papers for this program, letters of intent must be submitted to the Office of Research, ltdsub@missouri.edu, no later than 4:00 pm on Friday, May 2, 2008. Letters of intent should be limited to two pages and should be a draft version of the concept paper specified on page 10 of the Foundation's guidelines at http://www.mffh.org/HACInnovativeFunding08.doc.
