The National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) invites applications for a Cooperative Agreement (U10) to establish a Data Coordinating and Analyses Center (DCAC) for the Obstetric Pharmacology Research Unit Network (OPRU). The OPRU currently consists of four clinical research sites funded by NICHD to carry out pharmacology research to enhance understanding of obstetrical pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, and improve appropriate therapeutics during pregnancy. The DCAC will interact with OPRU sites, the OPRU Steering Committee and related subcommittees, the biological specimen repository, the Data and Safety Monitoring Board (DSMB), and the NICHD Program Scientists.

Because MU is limited to one application for this program, letters of intent must be submitted to the Office of Research, ltdsub@missouri.edu, no later than 4:00 pm Friday, March 23, 2007. Letters of intent should be limited to a three-page summary of 1) prior experience as a coordinating and statistical center, 2) expertise of the PI and proposed staff, and 3) a collaboration plan.

Amount:

Up to $500,000 in direct costs per year for five years.

Non-required letters of intent are due by March 17, 2007.
The deadline for submission of applications is April 17, 2007.
