The Missouri Foundation for Health (MFH) will support the implementation of integrated treatment services for adults with co-occurring disorders of moderate to severe substance abuse addiction and mental illness. This Priority Area Grant (PAG) is also designed to strengthen collaborative relationships among major stakeholders, leverage existing and future resources to increase consistency in service delivery and sustain improvements over time, and implement evidence-based best practices that maximize efficient, coordinated care and produce improved clinical outcomes for the populations served.

Because the University of Missouri System is limited to three applications for this program, letters of intent must be submitted to the Office of Research, ltdsub@missouri.edu, no later than 4:00 pm, Wednesday, January 31, 2007. Letters of intent should be limited to three pages and should summarize 1) proposed activities and any anticipated partner organizations, 2) the plan for working with other service providers, 3) the “best practices” to be implemented, and 4) an estimate of the budget request.

Amount:

Up to $100,000 per year for a period of three years (total grant award of $300,000).
