The Oak Ridge Association Universities (ORAU) Visiting Industrial Scholar Program helps support visits by senior industrial scientists to ORAU member institutions during the 2007-2008 academic year to foster interactions between faculty and students at member institutions and industrial scientists. The form of the interaction is left to the individual institution: seminars, lectures, cooperative project development, etc.

Because MU is limited to one application for this program, letters of intent must be submitted to the Office of Research, ltdsub@missouri.edu, no later than 4:00 pm Wednesday, November 22, 2005. Letters of intent should be limited to 3 pages and should include 1) a summary of the expertise of visiting scholar, 2) a tentative agenda for the visit, and 3) the purpose of the visit and how it will be beneficial to MU faculty and students.
