To promote research on sex differences, the Fannie E. Rippel Foundation is launching an initiative called the Rippel Scholars Program, which will focus on sex-difference biomedical research and gender-specific medicine. Each year for the next five years, the Foundation will award $100,000 to an investigator – the Rippel Scholar – to conduct a one-year study that focuses on sex-based biological differences.
