The Missouri Arts Council Discipline Program Assistance provides project support for a wide variety of arts activities in seven arts disciplines: dance, electronic media arts, literature, music, theatre, visual arts and multidiscipline. For MAC granting purposes, a “project” is a specific, identifiable program that has a distinct focus, format and objective. A project can include the following: performance series, exhibition series, educational outreach programs, artists residencies, lecture/demonstrations, workshops, and services to the field, such as conferences and newsletters/journals/publications of interest to the particular arts discipline.

Letters of intent should be limited to a 3-page summary of the proposed project that addresses the MAC review criteria of artistic quality, community involvement, and management ability.
