The mission of the Princess Grace Awards (PGA) New Dramatists Fellowship assists emerging artists at the outset of their careers. The PGA's encourage young artists to apply when they begin their careers so that they can work on their writing and network among colleagues at the same developmental stages in their careers.

One playwright will be selected to receive a grant, residency at New Dramatists, Inc. in New York City. The awardee's script will be included in New Dramatists' lending library, and the script will be distributed nationally to catalogue subscribers for one year.

Because MU is limited to one application for this program, letters of intent must be submitted to the Office of Research, ltdsub@missouri.edu, no later than 5:00 pm Friday, December 16, 2005. Letters of intent should be limited to a 2-page resume and an outline of the personal statement planned for the application.
