Limited Submission Announcement

The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) / Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Education and Research Centers (ERC) are focused on occupational safety and health training and research training. ERCs are academic institutions that provide interdisciplinary graduate training and continuing education in the core occupational safety and health areas of industrial hygiene (IH), occupational health nursing (OHN), occupational medicine residency (OMR), occupational safety (OS), as well as other closely related occupational safety and health (OSH) fields. Research and research training are integral components of ERCs, thus ERC scientists conduct peer reviewed, investigator-initiated research on issues related to the National Occupational Research Agenda (NORA). ERCs must document that the proposed core or allied disciplines will fill a gap in the selected occupational safety and health disciplines and state how the selected disciplines meet a specific regional workforce need.
