Limited Submission Announcement

The National Science Foundation (NSF) Nanotechnology Undergraduate Education (NUE) in Engineering Program aims at introducing nanoscale science, engineering, and technology through a variety of interdisciplinary approaches into undergraduate engineering education. The focus of this year's competition is on nanoscale engineering education with relevance to devices and systems and/or on the societal, ethical, economic, and/or environmental issues relevant to nanotechnology.

Because MU is limited to one application for this program, letters of intent must be submitted to the Office of Research,, no later than 4:00 p.m. on Friday, March 19, 2010. Letters of intent should be limited to a 3-page summary of the proposed project, including 1) plan to introduce or enhance nanotechnology in the undergraduate curriculum and its relevance to engineering education, 2) expected members of the interdisciplinary teams, 3) criteria to be used in evaluating the quality and impact of the project, and 4) plans to communicate the results of the project to other professionals.


Up to $200,000 for two years.
