Limited Submission Announcement

The Gustavus and Louise Pfeiffer Research Foundation makes grants for projects or programs to advance medicine and pharmacy, including scientific research, post-graduate scholarship and fellowship assistance, and studies in nutrition, blindness, deafness, and other physical disabilities.  The foundation does NOT support applications for cancer or other basic biomedical research, delivery of health care services, or projects which involve animal experimentation (other than insects).

Because MU is limited to three applications for this program, letters of intent must be submitted to the Office of Research, ltdsub@missouri.edu, no later than 4:00 pm Friday, November 13, 2009. Letters of intent should not exceed two pages and should include 1) the nature and purpose of the project, 2) the field of interest of the foundation to which it relates, 3) the amount requested, and 4) a general description of the items to be funded.
