How do I find funding sources?

Information about foundations is available at: http://foundationcenter.org/. The OGWP has a subscription to the Foundation Center Directory Online. It is available at 202 Jesse Hall.

Big Online America, a searchable database of funders, is available at: http://bigdatabase.com/. The OGWP has a subscription to this database. It is available at 202 Jesse Hall.


How do I locate model proposals?

Model proposals are available to University of Missouri faculty and staff. Older proposals are available in hard copy and can be obtained from the Office of Grant Writing and Publications in 202 Jesse Hall or can be requested by sending an email to umcresearchrequests@missouri.edu. More recent proposals are available online at http://research.missouri.edu/funding/model.htm.

Please be aware that model proposals are examples of previously funded grants. Current proposal preparation guidelines for a given program should always be consulted.


How do I find funding to gather preliminary data?
