Federal Research Update Webinar
Webinar: Federal Research Priorities and Budget for FY12
Monday-Wednesday, October 31-November 2, 2011
For many in higher education, budget constraints have decreased or eliminated funding for attendance at national conferences. In response, the University of Missouri Office of Research has arranged with several key federal agencies to broadcast their annual updates on research priorities and budgets via the internet. This live webinar will be made available to your university at no cost. We plan to involve six agencies—the National Institutes of Health, National Science Foundation, and the Departments of Agriculture, Defense, Education, and Energy.
Each agency will provide a one-hour presentation of their agency’s direction and priorities followed by 30 minutes of questions and answers. Video from the event is now available below:
