Federal Awards, Expenditures Continue Upward Trend
Federal research funding showed modest gains in FY 2006, led by a boost in commitments to both new and ongoing MU investigations. Award totals from federal sources last year topped $100 million for only the third time in MU history, while federal expenditures, at more than $106 million, eclipsed last years' record high.
